FIFA & AFC in their recent joint statement dated 30 November 2023 has declared that the FABD will not be sanctioned after the recent 3rd party interference.
FIFA & AFC also advised the FABD to immediately resume the electoral process leading up to its Elective Congress, which was originally due to take place on 18 November 2023 in order to take place as soon as possible and in respect with the deadlines stipulated in the Statutes and Electoral Code of FABD. The new date of the Election Congress will be declared soonest when the FABD managed to secure the formal convocations in line with the FABD Statutes.
FABD would like to extend their sincerest gratitudes to the offices of FIFA, AFC and involved parties for the kind considerations and thorough guidance throughout the situations that had caused discontents throughout the nation.
